For Numeracy this week we have been looking at compass directions. We have worked on reading maps using the 8 main directions - North, South, East, West, North-East, South-East, North-West and South-West and then we moved onto using Beebots and our knowledge of compass directions to get a Beebot through the grid to various locations I had to fix some problems but It works now.
For Numeracy this week we have been looking at compass directions. We have worked on reading maps using the 8 main directions - North, South, East, West, North-East, South-East, North-West and South-West and then we moved onto using Beebots and our knowledge of compass directions to get a Beebot through the grid to various locations I had to fix some problems but It works now.
We had to program the Beebot with our own algorithm, using forwards, backward, turn right, turn left and N, S, E, W. It was important that we regularly tested our algorithm to check we didn’t need to debug (find a problem and fix it).

Hello Jordan This sounds really cool but It's a shame that I couldn't get the video to work so maybe you could try edit that to make it work.I really like how much of a description you gave us about your work, It really helps me understand more about what your group has been doing. Keep up the great work Jordan.:)
