How to do Mountain Climbers  
Cardiovascular Health. The mountain-climber exercise is known for building lower-body strength, but the constant switching of the legs also gets your heart rate up.  As your cardiovascular health improves, speed it up.
Equipment you may need:
> a plank

Step 1
First start in a plank position with arms and legs long. Beginning in a solid plank is the key to proper form and good results in the Mountain Climber.

  
Step 2
Carefully pull your right knee into your chest.

Step 3
Next Quickly switch and pull the left knee in.

Step 4

And Continue to switch knees.
