  1. Kia ora Jordan, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Well done on sharing some of the amazing things that the SPCA does.
I cannot believe that they help over 40,000 lives each year! That is so many animals that have been sick or injured and were helped by such an amazing organisation.
The SPCA needs the public’s help to keep on supporting all of the sick and injured animals, so it was great of you to include the different ways people can help out.
Have you ever adopted an animal from the SPCA? If so, what kind of animal?
When I lived in Australia, I had to call the SPCA (or in Australia they call it the RSPCA) to help a kangaroo which had been attacked by a dog. The kangaroo was not in very good shape, and I watched over him until the SPCA arrived to help him out.
I was extremely thankful for everything the SPCA did to help out the injured kangaroo, and was so relieved when they were able to nurture him back to full health.
Thank you for creating such an amazing blog post. I look forward to seeing more content from you!
    Nga mihi

  2. Kia ora Jordan,
The SPCA is also one of my favourite charities and I have a lot of friends who get their pets from there. They do some wonderful things for animals and I have seen their animal ambulance about Christchurch.
Did the animal ambulance pick up your duck and pukeko? Did you ever find out what happened to the animals?
Some advice I saw from Nadia on of the other SLJ commenters was this "Make sure when you use photos you mention the source you got them from - you could put the link to the source or simply mention the site, its completely up to you, but this just ensures no one thinks you're plagiarising (stealing) photos."
    Keep you the awesome work,
    Nga mihi,
    Mark
