Hey Jordan, great work. Some pretty good estimates on there. I find that the objects sitting between 8 cm and 15cm are some of the hardest to guess for some reason. I'm guessing it has something to do with it being easy to see small amounts as just 1 or a few cm, and larger objects as being able to be seen as lengths in rulers, but the amounts in between take a lot of getting used to.
ReplyDeleteI took on your challenge and tried to estimate the height of my door. I guessed at 225cm. Using a measuring tape, it came out to 204cm. I thought that sounded pretty good, but then 21cm is two thirds of a whole 30cm ruler, so maybe I need some practice after all :)
